The cleanup began Wednesday morning after strong winds caused problems in Lexington.
Power went out around 10:30 Tuesday night on Winchester Road at Elkhorn Road.
A Kentucky Utilities spokesman says less than one hundred customers were affected.
Most of those are businesses.
KU thinks the strong winds caused the damage.
Power in the area is now back on.
The strong winds also knocked down several trees.
One large tree went down on Silver Maple Way off East Fourth Street in Lexington.
It fell onto the front yards of two homes and blocked one drive way.
The tree also took down one wire when it fell.
