A chain reaction crash near the campus of Transylvania University in Lexington sent five people to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
Five cars collided at the intersection of 4th Street and Broadway, a little after ten.
There was minor damage to the vehicles and the people hurt only suffered minor injuries.
Police shut down the inbound lanes while they cleaned up the crash, but everything is now back to normal in that area.
