Two legislative districts in the commonwealth have new representatives.

Voters in Bath, Bourbon, Nicholas and part of Fayette Counties elected democrat Sannie Overly. She defeated republican Bryan Beauman by 12 hundred votes.

The seat became open when Carolyn Belcher was elected Bath County Judge Executive.

Meanwhile, republican Alecia Webb-Edgington won the northern Kentucky seat vacated by Education Commissioner Jon Draud.
