A meth lab was discovered Thursday morning inside the Best Western Hotel on Elkhorn Drive in Lexington.
HazMat crews were called in to disarm the working lab. They say there was a large amount of volatile chemicals. It took crews several hours to clear out the room.
10 rooms in one wing of the hotel were evacuated. Four suspects were arrested. One of the men arrested may have ingested some dangerous chemicals and was taken to the hospital.
Police will not say who called the lab in or how they were tipped off.
Police have charged Cynthia Neely, Tina Whitlock, Thomas Stephens and Craig Barber with manufacturing meth. Another 17-year-old suspect has not been identified.
The health department has sealed off that hotel room.
