LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Heavy rains and high winds have battered parts of Kentucky as a front moves through the state, dropping temperatures back to more January-like weather.
By late Thursday afternoon, the storms had moved west of Louisville, but parts of central Kentucky remain under wind warnings and tornado watches and warnings.
National Weather Service meteorologists say a possible tornado was reported in Park City in Barren County in the south-central part of the state. He says investigators plan to go to the area Friday.
Temperatures are expected to drop this weekend.
