Preacher's Wife Looks Back On Murdered Husband's Life

By  |

The wife of preacher Marion Estep who was found shot to death last week, says they would've celebrated their two year anniversary this coming Thursday. But instead, she's dealing with a terrible loss.

With tears in her eyes, Sandra Henson-Estep says she still can't grasp the thought of losing the man she truly loved.

Marion Estep was known for offering rides to strangers and that is how his family believes he died, helping others.

He was found shot inside his car Thursday, along the Hal Rogers Parkway in Perry County.

He later died at a hospital.

Visitation for Marion Estep was held Sunday, but Sandra says his children asked her not to come. Sandra says she doesn't know why his children don't want anything to do with her, because she says they loved her and and were good to hear before she died.

Funeral services will be held Monday morning in Perry County. Police have still not made any arrests for Marion Estep's murder.
