It's a life or death situation for dozens of animals at the Anderson County Humane Society. If they're adopted, they'll live. If they're not, they'll have to be put down.
In fact, five animals were euthanized just last week, due to overcrowding at the Anderson County Animal Shelter and the Humane Society.
Now, officials with the Humane Society are pleading with people to adopt pets, or take them in as foster pets.
For more information about adoption call the Anderson Humane Society at: (502) 839-8339.
