Military Service Puts Political Campaign On Hold For Congressional Candidate

A Kentucky candidate for congress suspended his campaign Wednesday after learning he's being called to active military duty.

Erwin Roberts, who was state personnel secretary under Governor Ernie Fletcher, has received a mobilization order for
March or April.

Roberts is a Republican who had planned to seek the Louisville seat in congress.

He says his campaign is on hold until the Army tells him more.
