Don Pablo's Giving Refunds For Gift Cards

If you're wondering what to do with your Don Pablo's gift card, now that the restaurant has shut its doors in Lexington, there's some new information for you.

Officials now say any one who has a Don Pablo's gift card, but is worried they will not be able to use it, can get a cash refund.

There was some confusion earlier this week on whether the restaurant would issue refunds.

But restaurant officials say refunds are not available for coupons or reward programs.

Don Pablo's officials sent the letter below. They ask those with gift cards, who want refunds, to fill it out and return it to them, with the gift card.

Dear Don Pablo's Guest:

Thank you for your recent request for a refund of your Don Pablo's gift card. The restaurant had no advanced knowledge of the closing and we apologize for any inconvenience the sudden closing may have caused.

In an effort to process a refund check quickly, please complete the information listed below and return this form along with your Don Pablo's gift card. Please make a note of your card number(s) and save for your records.

Once the gift card is received, a refund check will be delivered in approximately three weeks.

Please note that there is no cash value on Rewards Cards, Dinero, Habaneros E-club Cards or any other Don Pablo's coupons. (As noted on these items.)

Please accept our sincere apologies again for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Feel free to contact me Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST should you have further questions.

Best regards,
