A line of strong to severe storms will race across central and eastern Kentucky over the next several hours.
A Bourbon County teen whose pickup truck was hit by a train Saturday afternoon has died.
Eighteen-year-old Bobbey Rose, of Paris, died early Monday morning at the University of Kentucky hospital.
Rose was a graduate of Bourbon County high school and a volunteer firefighter.
Police say Rose was driving a pickup truck across train tracks in Fayette County, near the Bourbon County line, at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
He was hit by on oncoming C.S.X. train hauling coal. Police do not yet know whether the warning lights were flashing.
On Monday, friends and family came together to grieve.
Funeral services are expected later this week in Paris.
Rose will be buried with full firefighter honors.
