Residents in Harrison County were once on the receiving end of donations when the town flooded in 1997.

Jon Roskins, the principal at Westside Elementary School knew that the generous community of Cynthiana would come together to help out the tornado victims in eastern Kentucky.

All week long the students brought in donations to help out families in tornado ravaged West Liberty.

Today students helped to lift the boxes and load the trailer.

Many of the fifth graders gave up their recess time to help organize all of the supplies.

Now that the truck is loaded, a staff member will be delivering it to a shelter in West Liberty tomorrow.
