Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. Flash flooding is the main threat tonight into Wednesday.
Hundreds from across the state gathered Sunday at an Eastern Kentucky middle school to say goodbye to an EMS Official, who died trying to help a pregnant woman involved in an accident.
Johnson County EMS Director Christa Burchett died last Tuesday, after a coal truck slammed into her. She was helping Erica Brown, a pregnant woman injured in another crash. Brown was also killed.
Burchett's funeral was held Sunday in Lawrence County. Immediately following the funeral, family, friends, and colleagues took part in a long procession of cars and emergency vehicles to Burchett's final resting place.
