PIKEVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Two eastern Kentucky teenagers charged
with killing three horses and injuring several others in a 2007
shooting spree have pleaded guilty.
A clerk for Pike County Judge Eddie Coleman says 18-year-old
Jacob Ratliff and 18-year-old Michael Damron each pleaded guilty
Thursday to felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor cruelty to
animals.
Both teens were taken into custody to serve six months of their
five-year sentences in jail. The rest will be served on probation.
Damron and Ratliff also have to pay $25,000 a piece to a Pike
