The eastbound lanes of I-64 in Shelby County are back open after a violent crash early Friday morning.
Police say a semi truck t-boned an SUV near the 44 milemarker.
The driver of the SUV went to the hospital in Frankfort with injuries.
It took rescue workers one hour to get her out of the vehicle.
Police don't know what caused the wreck.
Police say a bridge a couple of hundred yards from the accident scene may have been slick at the time of the crash.
