The lone survivor of a deadly eastern Kentucky triple shooting testified Monday as the murder trial of the accused gunman gets underway.

William Starr, also known as Billy Sartin, is on trial for the 2006 shootings in Martin County.

Jeffrey Mattox and Billy Proctor died, Geraldine Sue Litton survived. Monday, she told jurors about Martin's bizarre behavior when he showed up at her home.

Defense attorneys claim Starr suffers from paranoid schizophrenia.

His trial is being held in Johnson County.
