Man Arrested After Shooting

A Southern Kentucky man is in jail after a late night shooting.

Officers responded to Hansford Street in Eubank around 2:30 Friday night after reports of a drive by shooting in the area.

Police say 41 year-old Derel Lee Griffin fired several shots into a trailer and garage following an argument. Carl "Rick" Smittle was injured in the shooting and was taken to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Police arrested Griffin. He's now in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
