Western and North-Central Kentucky Under Winter Storm Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for western and north-central Kentucky.

The weather service is forecasting snow between 4 p.m. and midnight, with the precipitation changing over to sleet and freezing rain Tuesday morning.

Snow accumulations are expected to range from 4 to 8 inches in the Louisville area to 1 to 3 inches in central and eastern Kentucky.
