It's getting easier for some Eastern Kentucky senior citizens to get in shape, and have fun doing it.
There's about $40,000 worth of brand new exercise equipment at the Hazard-Perry county senior center.
The treadmills, elliptical and bike machines, free weights and flat screen TV came mostly from a University of Kentucky donation.
Eudell Vanover says she comes here to walk every day and have a little competition with her friends.
"I usually try to outdo them all," says Vanover.
"But it don't work all the time! Sometimes he beats me, but I love it and it's really fun here so anybody that could, they should come out."
You can check out the new wellness center at an open house this Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. It's free to use for anyone age 60 and up.
