The puppy quarantined for chewing off four of her owner's toes is back home.

China was taken away from her home on Bryan Avenue, just as her owner was rushed to the hospital two weeks ago.

The five month old pit bull was quarantined for 10 days at Animal Control while officials assessed the animal's temperament, and deemed her non aggressive.

China's owner Terry Smith, doesn't hold the incident against his puppy though, and says she was just playing.

"She didn't do it out of aggression, " Smith said, "She didn't know no better."

Smith is paralyzed from the waist down and didn't feel her chewing on his feet.

Terry Smith spent about 10 days in the hospital for his injuries, but says he's happy to have his best friend back.
