He was just trying to get his car washed, now a Boyd County man is recovering after he ended up being shot.

Kenneth Hunt says he was in his car at a car wash in Ashland when a man jumped out of another car, pulled out a gun and demanded money.

Hunt says he sped away and the man opened fire. Hunt was shot in the back. He's now in critical condition.

Police are looking for the shooter.
