A benefit is planned for Friday night to honor a Madison County teenager, killed on his way to school.
Police say Dustin Scalf lost control of his car earlier this month on U.S. 25 near Berea, slid across the center line and slammed into an oncoming car.
He was a sophomore at Madison Southern High School.
The benefit will begin at seven at Crestview Holy Sanctuary in Berea. It is being held to help the family pay for funeral expenses.
