Lexington Police arrested a man late Monday afternoon for allegedly kidnapping and sodomizing a 15-year-old boy they say he met on-line.

Jerry Wayne Humphries, 54, of Lexington, has been charged with three counts of sodomy and one count of kidnapping.

Police say the teenager was walking along a Lexington street when Humphries pulled up, grabbed the victim and then forced him into his car.

Police say Humphries allegedly took the victim to an apartment off Tates Creek Road and assaulted him.

Police say Humphries and the victim had chatted online and by phone, but had never met in person.

Police say the victim was able to pick Humphries out of a line-up.

Humphries is scheduled to make his first court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
