Home Invasion Suspects Cut Phone Line, Flatten Tires

Police in Laurel County are investigating an alleged home invasion.

The Laurel County Sheriffs Department tells 27NEWSFIRST they received a call from 75 year old Paul Arnold around 8:00 Monday night on North 25.

Arnold told police two men disguised with ski masks and camouflage first cut his phone line and T.V. cables, then broke through the front door.

Arnold told police the men then forced him to sit down in a chair and stole his wallet containing about $100 in cash; along with a 12 gage shotgun. Laurel County police also say the suspects flattened the tires on Arnold's car.

The Laurel County Sheriffs Department are investigating the home invasion and are currently searching for the suspects.

They are asking anyone with any information in this case to contact the Laurel County Sheriff's Office at 606-864-6600.
