LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A northern Kentucky man who made headlines earlier this month when he punched his attorney in court is now accused of hitting fellow inmates.
Police say Peter Hafer of Cynthiana assaulted two fellow inmates in the laundry room of the Bourbon County Jail on Tuesday. One of the inmates received a bloody nose and the other a black eye according to police.
Police say the 30-year-old Hafer was upset because he did not get a T-shirt back from the laundry.
Earlier this month a courtroom videotape caught Hafer hitting public defender Doug Crickmer in court, where Hafer was making an appearance on charges of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. Crickmer decided not to file charges for the assault.
