13-year-old injured in shooting

A 13-year-old was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday night after investigators say he was shot in the stomach.

The Estill County Emergency Management System tells WKYT the teen was shot in the stomach, off Little Buck Creek Road.

We're told he was airlifted to UK Hospital.

Kentucky State Police are investigating what led up to the shooting.
