Harrodsburg in Mercer County was one of the hardest hit areas from this month's tornado outbreak. Nearly four weeks have passed since the destructive storms and residents are still far from being back to normal.

Harlow Elementary School was also devastated, but repairs began immediately after the tornado hit. All efforts around the community have responded to help patch the damaged areas of the school. Students were even able to return to school the Monday following the event.

Principal Karen Hatfield says, "Even though it still looks really bad, it's much better and we're operating almost normally."

Meanwhile, FEMA representatives are stationed in Mercer County to help other storm victims. They will be available for questions and other aid through Saturday, March 1, 2008.

The FEMA team will then be heading to Fayette County to assist storm victims in Lexington from March 3-8, 2008.
