Leap day a day which comes around every four years, which means if you were born on February 29th, in reality, you go more than fourteen hundred days between birthdays.
In card and party shops you see cards and memorabilia for 50th and 60th birthdays, even happy retirement, but nowhere do you see happy leap day!
After all, it's not exactly a day that comes around often enough to generate a lot of money. But for people like Emily Bridge, it sure generates a lot of excitement
The UK junior is celebrating her 20th birthday, or something like that, on Friday.
Emily says while her parents always had yearly birthday parties, there was nothing like the ones which landed on the real day.
And on the years in which the 29th doesn't show up on the calendar, Emily says she gets to pick which day to call her own.
