LEBANON, KY -- Kentucky State Police and local law enforcement agencies in the Lebanon area are searching for a male suspect following a shooting incident at a local nightsport early Sunday morning.
A Lebanon Police Department news release states the suspect is being sought after an (unnamed) individual was shot at the Club Tiera Caliente on East Main Street in Lebanon at 2:53 a.m.
Police say the victim, a Hispanic male, was treated at Springview Hospital in Lebanon and then flown to the University of Louisville Hospital.
Police say the alleged shooter is described as "possibly a Hispanic male," wearing dark clothing and "possibly armed with a .38 caliber revolver."
Police say the suspect fled the area prior to officers arriving at the nightclub. Kentucky State Police and Taylor County K-9 units were called in to assist in an area search. The news release states, "After an exhaustive search by Lebanon, Kentucky State Police and Bradsfordville officers, the (alleged) perpetrator is still at large."
