The cold front is now working into eastern Kentucky with winds gusting to near 40mph at times. Temps have dropped into the 30s behind the front and we've had reports of sleet and snow mixing with the rain in Lexington.
It was one year ago Tuesday when a devastating fire ripped through a Kentucky landmark.
Now, work is well underway to get things up and running after the fire caused over a million dollars in damage.
Flames and smoke destroyed several businesses in the St.Clair Mall which was a well known downtown Frankfort landmark.
Roy Gray co-owns the buildings where the fire took place. He says the well-known establishment The Downtown Bar will be the first to re-open.
The other two buildings, including Tinks Barbecue, are expected to be done sometime this summer.
