Lexington's Lafayette High School has a new principal.
Fayette County school officials announced Bryne Jacobs has been chosen for the job.
She has been an associate principal at Dunbar High School for the past three years. She taught at Dunbar for several years before that.
Jacobs replaces Vicki Ritchie, who is now Fayette County's High School Director.
