FRANKLIN, Ky. (AP) - A infant boy wrapped in plastic bags and
abandoned in the cold last year is celebrating his first birthday with his new family.
The boy, now named Daniel, was discovered last February in a small town in southwestern Kentucky outside a vacant apartment. In the chilly weather that day, Daniel's body temperature had dropped to 85 degrees.
After Daniel was found, residents in Franklin lined up wanting to adopt the baby.
Now he makes his home with Anna Camp, a former neonatal nurse
who lives in Franklin.
Recently he celebrated his first birthday at home with Camp and her three other adopted children - biological sisters Lucy and Tabitha, now 5, and Chris, now 2.
Camps says Daniel is healthy and happy, and only cries when he's
hungry or tired.
