EKU Fraternity Suspended After Possible Hazing Incident

An investigation is underway at Eastern Kentucky University after allegations of hazing. A 23-year-old student was rushed to the hospital and now officials are trying to figure out if Kappa Alpha Psi went too far.

EKU officials confirm they are aware of the hazing allegations and have placed the fraternity on suspension.

EKU officials also say the national chapter of the fraternity has sent the same message to the EKU chapter.

23-year-old Brent Whiteside has been at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington for several days. Currently, he's listed in stable condition.

It is unknown if the alleged hazing incident occurred on campus.

EKU doesn't have fraternity or sorority houses on its campus.
