Police: Children found in filthy conditions at home

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Deputies have arrested a father after they say they found his children in unlivable conditions.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on Valley Lane in London Saturday, for a report that 40-year-old Ronnie Overbay threatened to kill himself and his two children.

Once at the home, deputies say they found it was filthy, and the living conditions were not suitable for children.

Deputies had social services get the children.

The Laurel County Sheriff's Office arrested Overbay, and charged him with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
