A shipment of supplies from Lexington will be shipped to Jackson County Friday to help dozens of dogs found living in filth.
Earlier this week, officials found more than 100 dogs living at a home in the Sand Springs Community.
Some dogs were dead. Others were in bad shape.
The Lexington Humane Society has been collecting food, bedding and other supplies for the animals.
Most of the dogs remain at the Gray Hawk Animal Clinic in Jackson County.
You can contact the clinic to offer assistance by calling (606) 287-8475.
