Angry Fans Denied Access To UK Game

The majority of the Wildcat faithful,l who followed the team down to Atlanta didn't get to see the game, at least firsthand.

Those with tickets weren't allowed into Saturday's game, at Georgia Tech. The news didn't sit well with the thousands of fans, hoping to cheer on the Wildcats to a win.

SEC Officials only allowed school officials and family members into the game. The Georgia Tech Coliseum only holds around 9,000 people.

The SEC has promised to refund anyone who bought a ticket to the game, and didn't get to attend. The details of how those refunds will be distributed are still being worked out.

Back here in Lexington, fans cheered on the Wildcats at their favorite establishments.

Many went to different restaurants and bars around town to watch the game on big screens. Some were shocked, to see so many empty seats during the game.

"That's why they call it Catlanta at this time of year. It's crazy not to see fans going nuts at the dome. The fans really get them motivated and into the game, realizing hey, these people believe in us."

Kentucky lost to Georgia, 60-56.
