LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - For one night, Maysville will turn into Hollywood along the Ohio River.
George Clooney's father says the northern Kentucky town will host a special screening of the new movie "Leatherheads." Nick Clooney says the screening is set for next Monday night at the Washington Opera Theatre.
George Clooney grew up near Maysville in the town of Augusta.
The romantic comedy is set in the world of 1920s professional football. The movie was directed by George Clooney, who also stars
along with Renee Zellweger and John Krasinski.
The film will be in theaters on April 4.
It will be the second time a Clooney will come to Maysville for a special screening. In 1953, Maysville was the site for the premiere of "The Stars are Singing," which starred George Clooney's aunt, Rosemary Clooney.
Nick and Rosemary Clooney were born in Maysville.
