LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A company that can help you make dinner plans, through your smartphone, has moved to Lexington.
WhyWait, a restaurant app company, has moved from Louisville to Awesome, Inc. in downtown Lexington.
The app allows restaurants to send push messages to users about deals, happy hours, and special events.
It started out as an idea by two UK graduates.
"We thought of the types of apps we'd like to come up with and we actually just made it happen... wrote a business plan, found some investors and started pushing the idea until it became a reality," WhyWait Co-Founder John Matar said.
WhyWait is currently available in Louisville, Lexington, and Bowling Green.
