The family of an 81 year old woman found murdered yesterday is speaking out on how they want to remember their mother.

Police discovered the body of 81-year-old Edith Parker on the living room floor of her home on Richmond Avenue in Mt. Sterling yesterday afternoon.

Her Son's Norvell and Charles Strange say she raised her six children on her own.

Now they are dealing with this tragedy and the fact that their sister is accused of the murder.

Parker's daughter 59-year-old Nancy Dunn, who lives across the street, was in the home when police arrived and arrested a short time later.

Police say Parker was assaulted, but would not release if she was beaten or stabbed. An autopsy is currently underway to determine the cause of death.

The say Dunn suffers from mental problems but never expected something like this to happen.

Dunn stands charged with murder and is being held on a $25,000 bond.
She'll be arraigned on Thursday morning in Montgomery County.

Yeah i think that it's pretty sad when someone harms their own family and friend's like that i just dont understand why nancy dunn would do such a thing. She will regret it one of these days when her mother is no longer around and face the time for the crime that she has done.
