OWSLEY COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A boil water advisory has been issued for some customers of Booneville Water & Sewage District.
We're told the advisory is for customers who live in the Levi community, and on Route 11 north to the Lee County line.
The advisory has been issued because of a water main break.
Water officials say the advisory will remain in effect until the potential for contamination has been eliminated from the drinking water supply.
Anyone with questions about the boil water advisory is asked to call the Booneville Water Plant at 606-593-5281 or 606-593-7800.
