Kim Hurst with the Jessamine County Humane Society, along with many volunteers were especially busy today. They were not only keeping a close watch on the rescued horses but also taking in an outpour of donations.
"We've had things coming in from all over including Tractor Supplies and Southern States, Hurst said.
Earl Rogers, president of The Kentucky Walking Horse Association said they donated two tons of feed and there may be more to come.
Help also came from vets who came out to examine the 70 horses found Wednesday, in a rural Jessamine County farm.
