A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is out for for much of northern and eastern Kentucky until 9 p.m. This is just east of the Lexington metro.
If you have old electronic items around the house that you're trying to get rid of, this is the week to do that.
Lexington is accepting old electronics as part of e-waste recycling week, at the Versailles Road government campus
They'll accept TVs, turntables, VCRs, DVD players, cells phones, microwaves, and computer components. You can also drop off fluorescent light bulbs and mercury thermostats.
The city holds e-waste recycling weeks three times a year in January, April, July and October.
