Strong and severe storms continue to push across central and eastern Kentucky. This action should begin to wind down over the next few hours.
A man continues to recover after an accident at an Eastern Kentucky coal mine.
Perry County Coal officials say Brian Roark was flown to Holston Valley Medical Center in Tennessee after he was hit by a piece of equipment. They say he suffered two fractured legs just after ten Tuesday night at the E-3 Mine.
Mine officials say MSHA, along with state and federal crews are still investigating the accident.
Reports from the hospital show Roark is alert and responsive.
