The Grant County man charged with the death of his parents made his first court appearance Thursday afternoon.
22-year-old Russell Bramlage pleaded not guilty to murder and several other charges.
Bramlage was picked up by police Monday night, on accusations he had forged one of his parents checks for $455, two weeks before their deaths. Several hours after his arrest, police had charged him with his parent's murders.
Police say the killings took place last November inside his parent's Grant County home. The bodies of Terry and Lynda Bramlage were not discovered until days after they were killed.
State Police are not releasing details about a motive for the murders, saying that could hurt their investigation.
The judge ordered Bramlage to be held without bond.
