Seven dogs arrived at the Lexington Humane Society on Old Frankfort Pike Thursday morning. All are full-grown and are ready to be adopted.
Police say they found those dogs at a Jackson County home along with dozens of others in filthy conditions last month. They were then taken to an animal linic in Grayhawk to be nursed back to health.
The Lexington Humane Society has been helping out since then. Three people face animal cruelty charges in connection to the case.
