Woman killed in Madison County crash

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - An investigation is underway into a deadly crash near Berea.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened just after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Highway 1016 and the Battlefield Memorial Highway.

Investigators say an SUV ran through a stop sign and hit a pickup.

They say a passenger in the SUV, 55-year-old Anna Rodriguez of Brodhead, died at the scene.

The driver, and a 2-year-old child in the SUV, were taken to a hospital in Berea to be treated. Their conditions are not known.

Investigators say the driver of the pickup was not injured.
