In just the blink of an eye, many people lost everything they owned.
Ruth Marcum says she walked out of her house, to find her neighbors mobile home in her front yard. Their barns were also destroyed by the powerful winds.
Charlene Owens rummaged through debris helping her niece, salvage as much as possible from her flattened mobile home.
A drive down the street was far from pleasant. Roofs were blown off, trailers were overturned and remnants were scattered for miles.
Neighbors say they are just lucky no one was killed. A major clean up effort was well underway.
