Murray State QB Charged With Robbery

MURRAY, Ky. (AP) - The starting quarterback at Murray State University has been charged with second-degree robbery after an incident with a campus police officer.

Sophomore Jeff Ehrhardt was arrested on Wednesday after being accused of pushing a patrolman and taking his ticket book in the parking lot of the Murray State intramural fields.

The 20-year-old Ehrhardt surrendered to the campus Public Safety office and returned the ticket book after a witness identified him.

Murray State Athletics Director Allen Ward called the incident "a prank gone bad."

According to the police report, Ehrhardt admitted to the incident after being bet $20 that he wouldn't do it.
