Bands of light snow are working across the region. These can put down some light accumulations on the grass and elevated surfaces.
The national weather service has confirmed that at least four tornadoes touched down in Kentucky.
Three separate tornadoes hit in Clinton County.
At least two people were hurt there when the storms rolled through. Power and phone service was also knocked out in that area.
The N.W.S. also confirms an E-F2 tornado touched down in Wayne County. The worst of the damage seems to be in the Hall Valley area, about three miles outside Monticello. The storm blew off roofs, flattened barns, and sent trees into homes.
