Teenager killed in Bath County crash

BATH COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A teenager has died following a violent crash near Owingsville.

Kentucky State Police say 18-year-old Lindsey Riggs, of Owingsville, was driving west on U.S. 60 in Bath County Thursday night, when her car ran off the road, and flipped.

Police say Riggs was thrown from the car.

She was airlifted to UK Hospital, but police say she died Friday morning.

Police say no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
