Homemade Bombs Thrown At Western KY Home

PRINCETON, Ky. (AP) - State police have charged two men with
arson after a makeshift bomb was thrown into a house in western
Kentucky.
Police say a woman was sleeping inside when the explosive
device, which police called a Molotov cocktail, was thrown through a kitchen window early Sunday morning. She was not hurt.
State police were called to the house near Princeton in Caldwell
County just before 1 a.m. EDT. They found a second Molotov cocktail
that didn't explode near the garage door.
Police have arrested 18-year-old Kyle Harper and charged him with first-degree arson and wanton endangerment. Darrell Harper Jr., 21, was charged with third-degree arson. They were jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center.
The fire caused moderate damage to the house.
